Bridging Hardware & Software to build the future
I'm a physics student at DCU with a passion for building cutting-edge hardware and software solutions. From designing custom PCBs to creating autonomous control systems, I love turning ideas into reality.
Whether it's optimizing a photobioreactor at a startup or mentoring the next generation of builders, I'm always pushing boundaries and solving complex problems.
Developed the central control of the main photobioreactor system to automate the process of drawing algae autonomously. Worked with a fleet of sensors to make valid control loops to monitor the state of the algae. Full responsibility over electronics.
Developed a custom PCB and LED control system for the sanitation robot, improving human-robot interaction. The system is now featured in their commercial robot deployed in hospitals across the U.S., U.K., and Ireland.
A 2-month summer accelerator for Ireland's brightest builders. Helped build scopelab - an all-in-one robotics diagnostic board for debugging robots during testing. Presented to 300+ founders, builders and developers.
Mentored young learners in coding, teaching foundational programming through Scratch and Python. Developed engaging lesson plans and organized robotics competitions for 20+ students.
3D particle accelerator visualization with torus geometry and autonomous trajectory simulation using NumPy and Matplotlib.
All-in-one robotics diagnostic board for debugging and testing robots in real-time. Integrated sensor monitoring, data logging, and analysis tools. Presented to 300+ founders and builders.
Machine learning system for automated dental analysis and diagnosis. Developed algorithms for dental image processing, tooth classification, and anomaly detection. Integrated with clinical workflows for real-time decision support.
Engineered an affordable intraoral scanning system for dental imaging. Designed custom optical and mechanical components, integrated 3D reconstruction algorithms, and optimized for clinical precision and ease of use.
Predictive machine learning model for solar storm forecasting using Parker Spiral Diagrams and historical solar wind data. Served as CTO developing the model from concept to presentation.
Selected to deploy a Raspberry Pi camera module to the International Space Station for autonomous data collection and Earth observation. Part of cutting-edge space research initiative.
First Place in Intermediate Individual Technology Category & Stripe Software Award (2024). Second Place in Junior Tech (2022).
Selected as 1 of 30 from 550+ projects for intensive bootcamp. Worked as CTO developing predictive solar storm models.
Consistently recognized for excellence in science and technology at regional and national levels. 2x National Finalist.
Selected to represent Ireland. Earned Second Place in Computer Science category, showcasing skills internationally.
Chosen to further develop expertise in quantum computing through this prestigious program.
Contributed to cutting-edge space research. Selected to send a Raspberry Pi camera to the ISS to obtain own data.
Honored for academic excellence and commitment to education, recognizing achievements in and outside the classroom.
Selected for second-year programme, gaining insights into global tech industry.
Selected out of 30 people for an immersive internship experience with Fujitsu, learning about the latest in technology and business practices.
